HOME ALONE

HOME ALONE

In each closed episode of this social experience, six children are challenged to live alone in a house.

For a week-end, the children – aged from 8 to 12 years old – are confronted to different household chores such as cooking, managing a budget, do the grocery shopping, do the dishes… Long story short, they will be confronted to the adult life. The parents, who will stay in a house next door, will be able to observe and comment on everything the children are doing. They will be assisted by a psychologist who will help them understand the children’s behaviors and give them some advice.

During the week-end, the children also have to take part in several challenges to prove to their parents that they are responsible and grown already. They will face unexpected situations, such as a water damage or a blackout orchestrated by the production team. And of course, they will be tempted to break the rules. We will see surprising and funny situations, but also difficult moments and despair. As much for the children as for the parents, who will only be able to watch what is happening. The big question is: how will these children manage all by themselves without their parents, and how will they deal with one another?
